Botnet of Ares is an incremental hacking roguelite where you exploit millions of devices in a cyberpunk world where everything is connected. Expand your botnet, evolve your AI and decide the future of humanity.

Botnet of Ares puts you in the commander's seat of an ever-growing network of infected computers. The botnet grows for the sole purpose of training Ares, a self-improving AI Agent capable of exploiting devices en masse.

As Ares grows more powerful, so does the botnet under its control. Exploit devices ranging from consumer electronics to massive datacentres - but beware: you must carefully select the best devices for each task.

Ares creates a small botnet consisting of vulnerable smart shavers.

Machines vary in computing power and parallelism levels. Optimize resource allocation and keep your botnet busy for the best results.

A complex botnet is used to upgrade Ares even further.

Be careful! Your actions will not go unnoticed - Intrusion Countermeasure Electronics will attempt to bring an end to your expansion. Act quickly, reconfigure your botnet and shatter the ICE before it is too late.

ICE spawn after completing an upgrade. They are named David and Goliath, and the player must reallocate most of their resources in order to deal with the threat.
